COVID-19 Financial Resources

From The Founder

To the money makers of the Beworth community,

I wanted to write a quick letter to acknowledge that the Coronavirus is taking a toll on many of us. Life in isolation can be difficult, while others have lost their jobs and are trying to take care of family members from a distance. If you are worried about what the pandemic means for your future, and the impact this is going to have on your finances, please know that you are not alone. We are all in this together. But I do hope that Beworth Finance, the services and free tools I provide, can be one way that you seek clarity, find hope, and take action to ensure you're in the best possible place moving forward.

To help, I’ve compiled a list of resources and websites that may be helpful to you during these times. Some I’ve created, some are from other money gurus, but I hope all will be helpful to you.

  1. Need a way to make additional income? Many are looking for ways to generate additional income during this time, either to replace lost income or build up their emergency savings. Check out this website which offers hundreds of reviews of work from home opportunities, so you don’t have to do the digging.

  2. Need help finding your stimulus check? Use this link to track down your payment (or troubleshoot if it has yet to arrive.

  3. Need help getting your finances in order? The Money Moves Accelerator is designed to give you confidence and manage your money like the pros (even on a budget). The course is completely self-paced, has a money-back guarantee, and is jam-packed with videos, worksheets, and instruction guides to help you through. For a limited time only, you also get one month’s free access to the Money Moves Mastermind, a private group where you can participate in Q&A calls with me and other moneymakers to discuss your progress and any money questions. Learn more here.

  4. Need help with your student loans? You are NOT alone, and if you have federal loans, your payments may be postponed for the next 6 months. Read this article for what the CARES Act means for your student loans (including which federal loans qualify, and which don’t). If you’re seeking public student loan forgiveness, payments paused during this period will count towards qualified payments. For the latest info, make sure to check out the Q&A from studentaid.gov to learn more.

  5. Want to know what your credit card company is to help during the pandemic? Check out this article from Debt.com for a summary of how the major credit card companies, such as Chase, American Express, and Capital One are trying to help (and what you can do about it).

  6. Need free credit counseling? Did you know that organizations like Debt.com can refer you to a free nonprofit credit counseling service? If you feel like you’re drowning and need help, learn more here.

  7. Need all the resources re COVID-19 under the sun? Check this out from I Heart Budgets, it’s an incredibly helpful list of resources they will continue to keep updated during this stressful time.

I hope these are helpful and if anyone needs help or has a specific question, please reach out to me directly at khamilton@beworthfinance.com.

Wishing you good health and fortune, in all ways,
