In 2012, I moved to Washington, DC making $15/hour with over $40k in student debt. I didn't really know how to manage my money, and was so frustrated that no one had ever taught me before! Sick of dealing with the stress of my student debt, I developed a system of managing my money that enabled me to pay off my debt in three years, double my income in four, and buy my first home before my 30th birthday.
